Our terms and conditions reflect the values of MWS Physio: transparency, trust, and patient-centered care. They apply to all services offered and regulate the rights and obligations of our patients.

Our GTC reflect the values of MWS Physio: transparency, trust, and patient-centered care. They apply to all services offered and define the rights and responsibilities of our patients.

1. Services

MWS Physio offers:

  • Physiotherapy treatments

  • Preventive programs

  • Workplace assessments

  • Consultations within the framework of the MWS Score System

Services are provided based on a physician’s prescription or on a self-pay basis. Additional services (e.g., training plans, assistive devices) are billed separately. The MWS Score System is the property of MWS Physio and may only be used by registered patients.

 

2. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our online system.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling: Must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment to avoid charges.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows: The full session fee will apply, except in cases of verified emergency, acute illness, or accident. A corresponding proof (e.g., medical certificate) may be requested.

  • The same rules apply to online or phone appointments.

 

3. Home Visits

Home visits are provided in Wettingen, Basel-Stadt, Baselland, and surrounding areas. Any additional travel costs will be communicated in advance.

 

4. Fees and Payment Terms

  • Billing is based on Tariff 590 (for supplementary insurance) or directly to self-paying patients.

  • For prescribed treatments, billing is usually handled directly with the health or accident insurance if prior approval has been obtained.

  • Self-pay services are payable after each session by cash, card, or invoice.

  • Invoices must be paid within 10 days; late payments may incur reminder fees.

  • Uncovered services or co-payments are the responsibility of the patient.

  • Terms for prepaid packages or vouchers are governed by specific conditions (see section 7).

 

5. Liability

  • Participation in treatments is at the patient’s own risk.

  • MWS Physio is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

  • No liability is assumed for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or personal belongings (e.g., wardrobe, valuables).

  • Patients must provide complete and truthful health information. MWS Physio is not liable for damages resulting from incomplete or false information.

  • Force majeure / emergencies: MWS Physio is not liable for appointment changes or cancellations due to force majeure, staff illness, or unforeseeable events.

 

6. Patient Responsibilities

Patients agree to:

  • Arrive on time for appointments

  • Provide complete and truthful medical information

  • Actively participate in therapy and follow prescribed exercises correctly

  • Report any changes in health status or new complaints promptly

 

7. Vouchers and Promotions

  • Vouchers are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

  • Promotions and discounts cannot be combined.

 

8. Data Protection

  • All personal data are treated confidentially in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).

  • Data are used exclusively for treatment, documentation, and billing purposes.

  • Electronic communication (email, online forms, phone, or video sessions) is at the patient’s own risk.

  • Treatment records are stored according to legal retention periods and then deleted or anonymized.

9. Complaints / Feedback

Patients may submit complaints or feedback in writing to MWS Physio. We handle them promptly and transparently.

 

10. Amendments to the GTC

MWS Physio reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The currently valid version is published on our website and replaces all previous versions.

 

11. Severability Clause

If individual provisions of these GTC are invalid or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

 

12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The place of jurisdiction is Aargau, Switzerland, and Swiss law exclusively applies.
